Marshall County Sheriff’s Office arrest report

On October 15th at 5:00pm, Deputy Lofton Rowley and Detective William Strader were notified of a stolen tractor trailer on US 641. The truck had been reported stolen to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office a short time before. The officers observed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near the Benton exit on I-69. Troynette Charlene Clayton of Houston, TX was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or More. Deputy Rowley also served Clayton with a Calloway County complaint warrant charging her with Theft By Unlawful Taking Auto.

On October 15th, Deputy Brandon Little served a bond revocation, arresting David Dewayne Chadwell of Benton.

On October 16th, Deputy Cory Curtner served two bond revocations on Marissa Ledbetter of Tiline, KY.

On October 17th, Deputy Mike Wyatt served a Failure to Appear Warrant by arresting Steven Derek Taylor of Madisonville.
On October 17th, Captain Matt Hilbrecht served a complaint warrant on Jake Holland York of Benton. The warrant charges York with Violation of a Kentucky EPO / DVO
On October 18th, Deputies Cory Curtner and Nick Spears responded to a Briensburg area home on an investigation. As a result, Jason Powell age 40 of Benton was charged with Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess and Trafficking in Marijuana Less Than 8oz 1st Offense. Powell is due to appear in Marshall District Court next month.
