As a reminder, a contractor for P&L Railroad plans an extended closure of KY 91 in southern CALDWELL County starting Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
KY 91/Hopkinsville Road will be closed for approximately 10 days to allow concrete repairs to the railroad overpass at milepoint 7.79 south of Princeton in Caldwell County. This railroad overpass is immediately at the KY 91 intersection with KY 1603/Scottsburg Road and is notable for the limited 13 ft- 2 inch overhead clearance.
KY 91/Hopkinsville Road is expected to close at approximately 8:00 a.m., CDT on Tuesday, October 16th. It is expected to reopen by sometime late in the day on Thursday, October 25th.
There will be a marked detour.
P&L Railroad and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will attempt to provide a timely update should the overpass repair work be completed before the October 25th target date.
