(Mayfield, Ky.) Sept. 17, 2018 – About 1500 West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative (WKRECC) members in the Gilbertsville area of Marshall County will be affected by a scheduled 1-hour power outage on Thursday night, Sept. 20, 2018, starting around 11 p.m.
Generally, members affected are those located in Gilbertsville, Calvert City, along the Interstate 24 and U.S. Hwy 62 interchange, Kentucky Dam State Park and surrounding areas.
The outage is part of an upgrade for equipment in the Gilbertsville Substation to ensure future reliability.
WKRECC regrets having to interrupt service and apologizes for the inconvenience.
