Marshall County Sheriff’s Office arrest report

On August 27th, Sergeant Jason Lane served a Calloway County complaint warrant on Kenneth Robert Lima of Murray. The charges were Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Dispensation Auto.

On August 29th, Sergeant Rick Inman of the Court Security Division observed a man in the Judicial Building that appeared to have been drinking. Upon further investigation Kevin Raley of Benton was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

On August 29th, Deputy Steven Oakley served a Bond Violation warrant on Zachary Bonn of Paducah.

On August 29th, Detective Nathan Maxlow of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and Detective Captain Jesse Riddle of the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on US 62 in Possum Trot. Patrol Deputy Steven Oakley responded to assist. As a result of the ensuing investigation, the Driver Tammy E. Jackson of Benton was arrested and charged with Failure to Use Child Restraint, Booster Seat Violation and Trafficking In Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st offense. The Passenger Darla McCoy of Paducah was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Prescription Drug Not in Proper Container.

On Aug 30th, Captain Matt Hilbrecht served two Failure to Appear warrants on Jonathan Johnston of Calvert City.

On August 30th Sergeant Jason Lane served an Indictment Warrant on Belinda Louann Garrison of Paducah. The charge was Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.

On August 31st Deputy Nick Spears was on patrol at the Sledd Creek Boat Ramp off of Ridge Road when he found a vehicle parked without headlights on and several people in the vehicle. Continued investigation revealed that the occupants were minors and one was armed. A Hazel, KY juvenile was charged with Possession of Handgun by a Minor 1st Offense and released to parents. No other charges were filed.

On September 1st Deputy Nick Spears and Deputy Chris Greenfield responded to a disturbance on Benton Birmingham Road. Deputies were looking for a Donald S. Fannin as a result of the investigation. Deputy Spears located Fannin on Dogtown Road and arrested him. Fannin was charged with 2 Counts of Assault 4th Degree and 1 count of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. Fannin was also served by Deputy Spears with two Failure to Appear Warrants.

On September 2, Detective Nathan Maxlow served an arrest warrant Failure to Appear on Austin Wade Powell of Benton. While at the residence Detective Maxlow observed items which resulted in additional charges on Powell for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia Buy / Possess.
