The popular Friday morning radio show, “Let’s Talk Politics”, has become a mainstay for WCBL listeners. With a panel comprised of both republicans and democrats, the show encourages listeners to call in as they discuss and debate local and national political topics live on air. Now, the people of Marshall County are being presented a new way to become involved as we are now offering live video feed on the Marshall County Daily Facebook page. Viewers of the show are able to ask questions and voice their opinions by commenting on the live feed so their input can be read on the program. The first week’s live video broadcast attracted over 2,200 views with numbers still climbing.
As November 6 quickly approaches, WCBL is offering the opportunity for all candidates in Marshall County races to appear on “Let’s Talk Politics” during the months of September and October. Candidates will be able to debate opponents, respond to questions from Facebook viewers and radio calls, as well as discuss various issues with the panel.
