Lyles Eye Center Team of the Week: Marshals Golf Team

This week’s Lyles Eye Center Team of the Week  is the Marshall County High School Marshals Golf Team. The team began the 2018 season July 17th with a second place in the Best of the West Tournament at Boots Randolph State Park and followed that up with a first place finish in the Owensboro Catholic Invitational.

The next two tournaments, taking on the top golf teams in the state, the Marshals placed 11th in the Gator Invitational Tournament in Bowling Green and 19th in the Kentucky Cup at the University of Kentucky Wildcat Course.

On August 4th, the Marshals captured first place in the Dawson Springs Invitational at Pennyrile State Park and have won their first two matches August 9th over Graves County at Kentucky Dam State Park and on August 14th over Mayfield at Benton Country Club. The Marshals will head to Kearney Hills in Lexington Saturday to play in the Dunbar Classic Invitational.
