Tyler Powell led the Marshals by shooting a 2 under par 70 which also earned him medalist honors for the tournament.  Teammate Jay Nimmo shot an even par 72 to help the team and also earn him a 2nd place individual award.  The team shot a score 304 and was followed by Bowling Green High school who shot 307.

Marshal’s individual scores: Tyler Powell   70, Jay Nimmo  72, Camdyn McLeod  78, Nathan Clark   84, Drake Butler   88

“I was really proud for Tyler on his round today, he has been playing some of the best golf in his career this past week”, Coach Keith Bell said. “He hit his irons very well today and left himself with alot of short  putts.  Jay had another great round of golf today, he’s been playing consistently par golf so far in this high school season.  Camdyn McLeod has been playing very consistently, scoring in the mid to high 70s the previous tournaments this past week.  He’s getting better every time he competes.”

With three players scoring in the 70s, Bell feels his team will be competitive in any tournament they play in and if they can continue to play at this level, our the team will have a real solid chance of getting back to the state tournament.

Nathan Clark had a solid round shooting 84, tying his best performance of the year.  Drake Butler provided a good round and continues to work hard to improve his game.
