Ramps in NORTHEAST Quadrant of Western KY Pkwy/Natcher Pkwy Interchange at Beaver Dam CLOSED for 5 Weeks

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed both ramps in the NORTHEAST quadrant of the Wendell Ford-Western Kentucky Parkway/William Natcher Parkway Interchange near Beaver Dam in OHIO County.

The northeast quadrant of the WK Parkway/Natcher Parkway interchange includes the northbound Natcher Parkway ramp to westbound WK Parkway and the westbound WK Parkway ramp to Natcher Parkway Northbound.

Closure of these ramps is the final phase of an ongoing effort to upgrade ramps around the interchange.  The ramps are being widen and lengthened.

Work on the ramps in the northeast quadrant of the WK Pkwy/Natcher Pkwy Interchange in Ohio County is expected to take about 5 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

There is a marked detour.

Over the weekend the contractor opened the Natcher Parkway northbound ramp to WK Pkwy eastbound in the interchange.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.  This is a continuation of rehab work along the main line of the Natcher Parkway in Ohio County that was completed last year.
