Marshall County tennis defeated Calloway County on Monday, April 10, handing the Lakers their first loss of the season. The girls and boys both won their matches 5-4.
“We were very proud of our kids’ efforts during this match”, Coach Kelly Chumbler said. “Calloway County was undefeated at this time and this was a tremendous boost for our kids in playing such a worthy opponent, especially during 40 degree temperatures.”
The team will play at Ballard Memorial Thursday at 4:15.
