The Marshall County baseball team gathered with the family of Preston Cope Tuesday to remember Preston on his 16th birthday. Preston, always remembered as a kind, caring young man with a love for baseball, was a member of the Marshals baseball team and was killed on Jan. 23 in the shooting at Marshall County High School. A sign has been placed on the left field wall in remembrance of Preston who wore #5. The Lady Marshals softball team held a balloon release honoring Preston also on Tuesday.
