In their two matches this week, the Marshall County tennis team split, losing at Paducah Tilghman Tuesday and defeating Community Christian Academy in their first home match Thursday. Against Tilghman, the team won two singles matches and two doubles match. In singles play, Alex Chapman won 8-3 and Keifer Court won 8-0 while in doubles, Jessica Wilcox and Pamela Ross won 9-0 and Hayden Jaco and Court took their match 8-4.
At home on Thursday, the girls won 4-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles with games 5-6 forfeited in singles play by CCA. The boys won 3-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles with matches 4-6 forfeited. Results from both matches below.
