Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies serve warrants, make drug arrests

Deputy William Strader at 3:27 p.m. Jan. 17 served an indictment warrant on charges of trafficking in controlled substance 1st Degree ( Methamphetamine ) and Promoting Contraband 1st Degree.Bryant E. Deroche of Paducah was served.

Deputy William Strader on 3 p.m. Jan. 17 served an indictment warrant charging Charles N. Grundy of Paducah with possession of controlled substance 1st Degree – Mmethamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was also served with a second warrant on the same charges in a separate indictment out of Marshall County Circuit Court.

Deputy William Strader at 4 p.m. Jan. 17 served an indictment warrant to Mark A. Aldridge of Murray. The charge was for promoting contraband 1st degree.

Deputy William Strader at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 17 served an arrest warrant on Kealey M. McCalester of Paducah. The charge was probation violation for felony offense. McCalester was also served an indictment warrant on charges of possession of a controlled substance first degree, second offense – methmphetamine, possession of marijuana and trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, first offense – methamphetamine.

Deputy William Strader also served Tammy C. Lamb of Murray an indictment warrant for escape 2nd degree

Deputy William Strader on Jan. 17 served an Indictment Warrant on Rebecca L. Mitchell of Calvert City. The charge was robbery 2nd degree.

Deputy Cory Curtner and other deputies on Jan. 17 were at Hardin Apartments on a separate incident when they observed a strong odor of marijuana. As a result of the investigation, Sheena Moore of Hardin was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Moore is due to appear in Marshall District Court next month.

Also at Hardin Apartments, Deputy Cory Curtner served Jason Alexander a warrant for failure to appear.

Deputy Cory Curtner, Deputy Barry Howell, Trooper Eric West and Trooper Will Propes were on Ky Lake Resort Road on an investigation. While there Curtner arrested Lolita Carruthers of Eddyville for trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense – methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Howell served Carruthers a Caldwell District bench warrant for failure to appear.

Deputy Josh Anderson on Jan. 13 was dispatched to Curd Road to a crash. Anderson arrested Jeffrey R. Gipson of Almo and charged him with giving officer false identifying information, failure to maintain insurance and no registration plates.

Deputy Jason Ivey on Jan. 11 arrested Christopher R. Wright of Marion for probation violation for a felony offense.

Deputy Steven Oakley at 1:46 p.m. Jan. 11 investigated a motor vehicle crash on Purchase Parkway. As a result, Wilma G. Marsili of Benton was charged with driving on DUI suspended license and improper turning.
