Jeremy Rose, the voice of the Lady Marshals basketball team for 24 years and member of the WCBL sports team, was honored Friday at the WCBL studio in Benton, Ky. for his years of service to WCBL and WCCK, a radio career that began in 1995. Rose is joining Racer Radio to call the Murray State girl’s basketball games which can be heard on 1340WNBS.com and over the air on 1340AM.

Rose said in a press release by Murray State on October 17, “The Good Lord has blessed me to have had the chance to be the voice of the Lady Marshals for 24 seasons and I got to experience a lot of winning,” Rose said. “I never had to call a losing season and my family was with me much of the time. I’m looking forward to them being involved when I call games at Murray State. Seeing the Racers win the OVC Tournament and get to the NCAA Tournament is attainable here and I want to be a part of that.”

Jeremy was joined by his family (L-R) mother Cindy Rose, sons Talon and Kelan and wife Brandy.
