The Costa FLW Series Championship kicks off today on Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan, Tenn., but FLW hosted anglers from Canada, China, Korea, Mexico and South Africa yesterday at its offices in Benton.
As a worldwide fishing organization, FLW affiliates run bass-fishing tournaments in each of the countries with anglers qualifying to come to the United States to compete in the FLW Series Championship.
The highest finisher among the international contingent will advance to the Forrest Wood Cup for a shot at winning the biggest payday in bass fishing, $300,000.
