Jay Nimmo’s round of 36 and Tyler Powell’s 37 led the way for the Marshals in their first match of the season at Calvert City Country Club. Camdyn McLeod and Nathan Clark both shot 40 to complete their team score to beat Murray 153 to 182.
Brogan Welch led Murray with a round of 42, Nathan Waltmon shot 43, Jack Epperson 46 and Grant Whitaker 51. The Marshals ‘Orange’ team shot 216 with scores coming from Drake Butler 49, Teddy Wynn 55, Nick Dowdy 55 and Ben Staples 57.
The Marshals will play Saturday in the Dawson Springs Invitational at Pennyrile State Park, then play a match on Monday at Deer Lake Golf Course against Livingston County.
