RUBY BURKEEN, 88 of Calvert City, KY passed away at 10:05PM, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Shirley Frensley of Calvert City, KY; her two sons, David Burkeen of Covington, GA and Stanley Burkeen of Benton, KY, seven grandchildren, Cindy Hyatte, Mike Frensley, Crystal Burkeen, Beth Caldwell, Shara Sullivan, Stacy Henley and Stan Paul Burkeen, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Burkeen; one sister, Nora Mae Cooper and six brothers, Herbert Carter, Robert Carter, Crocket Carter, Johnny Carter, Charles Carter Jr. and Garland Carter. Her parents were, Charles D. Carter and Hattie Mae Edwards Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Bro Chris Moore will officiate and burial will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
