Marshall County Sheriff’s Report March 20th, 2017

On 03/17/2017 Deputy Oakley investigated a 2 car collision at HWY 68 and HWY 80 in Aurora. A 2006 Chevy Tahoe driven by Bruce Reynolds 54 of Mclouth KS was traveling from Kenlake State Park crossoing 80 to 68. Reynolds stopped in the median and then continued. Reynolds pulled into the path of Danielle Brown 24 of Hardin KY. Brown struck the passenger side of Reynolds. Brown was transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital. Brown’s minor child was uninjured.

On Wednesday March 15th Deputy Dan Melone received a call that a juvenile male had been robbed on Karen Faye Ln in Hardin. The juvenile was approached by Zachary Ogle 19, of Hardin, whom had slammed him to the ground robbing his shoes and fled away. Deputy Melone located Ogle at his home on Karen Faye Ln and he confessed to the robbery. Ogle was placed under arrest and charged with Robbery 1st Degree.

On Wednesday March 15th Detective Nathan Maxlow conducted an investigation on possible drug activity at a residence on John May Ln. Det. Maxlow obtained a search warrant for the residence after the completion of his investigation. Upon search of the residence a large sum of cash in a lock box and a small baggie of methamphetamine were located. Lisa K. Woody 54, of Hardin, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested was Aaron L. Woody 34, of Hardin, and charged with Trafficking In Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Notify Address Change to Dept. of Transportation. We were assisted by Paducah Police Department and Kentucky State Police.

On March 13th at approximately 11:35pm, Sergeant Tim Reynolds was dispatched to Tubbs Road in reference to a single vehicle crash. As a result of the ensuing investigation, the driver, Joshua B. Sanchez-Bruce age 25 of Benton was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence ALC/Drugs/Etc .08 Aggravating Circumstances 1st Offense and Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operators License.
