Marshall County students have great showing at KCFL event

This weekend members of the team competed at the KCFL (Kentucky Catholic Forensic
League) National Qualifier in LaRue County, Kentucky; a tournament with only a few
select events and entries. Dalton York was a Finalist in Extemporaneous Speaking,
which qualifies him to compete at the national tournament, which will take place
this summer in Louisville.

Please Congratulate Dalton if you see him. He is Marshall County’s first national
qualifying student; a pretty big accomplishment! Dalton will go with the rest of the
team to compete at the KHSSL (Kentucky High School Speech League) state tournament,
in Lexington on March 9-11, and the NSDA (National Speech and Debate League)
District Tournament on March 18th. Best of luck to Dalton and the rest of the
Marshall County High School Speech Team!
