Mexico by Paula Harrington

I was blessed to be able to spend a week in Mexico recently working with the local church there.

Every morning before we went out to work we would gather at the home of Christians in Mexico City for breakfast and encouragement.

Every evening we would meet back to share where we saw God working that day and sing songs of praise
to our Father.

It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken.

This was the Monday night of our trip.

After hearing the group singing, I wanted you to hear it, too.

Although the majority of the songs we sang were in English, this is the one that touched me the most and the one I wanted to share with you.

I listened and was moved to tears.

It was a powerful reminder that Jesus came and died for people who look, speak, and live differently from me.

And even though I may notunderstand everything that comes with that, it’s beautiful.

Just like this song.

Listen even though you don’t know the words and be blessed.

And then go love your neighbor a little better.

Even the neighbor you don’t understand.
