Gillespie receives donation to Gunner’s Magic Train Foundation

DRAFFENVILLE – A check in the amount of $1,250 was presented to Marshals Head Coach Gus Gillespie from WCBL Radio Station, Lake Chem Community Federal Credit Union and area sponsors of the 8th Annual Gunner’s Magic Train Shootout during Friday’s session of games.

The donation to the Gunner’s Magic Train Foundation will help in the fight against pediatric cancers, specifically DIPG (diffused intrinsic pontine glioma) a rare brain tumor that took the life of the Gillespie’s 8 year old son Gunner on October 23, 2008.
