DRAFFENVILLE – In their first meeting of the season, the Lady Marshals beat Calloway County 7-0 but Head Coach Michael Boone said in pre-game comments, this would be a different game with a much-improved Lady Laker team.

The Lady Marshals won 2-1 on a first half goal by Bailie Wood with an assist by Kayla Travis and second half goal by Camryn Crass with the Lady Lakers getting on the board with two minutes left in the game and coming close to tying it in the closing seconds.

Marshall County had 5 shots, 4 of those on goal and 7 corner kicks. Calloway County had 1 shot and 1 on goal along with 1 corner kick. The win moves the Lady Marshals record to 9-8-0.

They will travel to the Eastern Time Zone this Saturday to play two games against DuPont Manual (10-6-0) and Male (11-4-1) and finish the regular season at McCracken County (11-8-0) on Tuesday.
