Lady Marshals split matches with McCracken County

BENTON – The Lady Marshals golf team played Thursday at Benton Country Club, hosting two players from Ballard Memorial. Savannah Howell, Megan Hertter and Kennadi Spraggs all shared in the low round of 41. Karissa Jordan shot 43, Sydney Phillips 47, Laney Hoskins 57, Alyssa Howell 60 and Leah Vincek 66.

Last Thursday on August 18th, the girls played a match at Calvert City Country Club, hosting McCracken County and one player each from Christian Fellowship, Crittenden County and Lyon County.

Marshall County won the match over McCracken County 170 to 186. Savannah Howell was medalist with 38, Hallie Riley shot 41, Megan Hertter 43 and Kennadi Spraggs 48. Maddie Ortt from CFS shot 46.

At Mayfield Country Club on Tuesday, McCracken took the win this time with a team total of 172 over the Lady Marshals with 179. Mayfield and Caldwell County each had one player with Caldwell’s Campbell Knoth taking the individual win with a round of 38.

Savannah Howell led Marshall County with 38, Hallie Riley and Sydney Phillips shot 45, Kennadi Spraggs 51 and Kenley Luksic 58. Allison Hane and Jessica Stephens led McCracken County with 42.
