On 08-25-16, detectives with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and McCracken County Sheriff’s Department conducted a joint drug investigation into the trafficking of methamphetamine which resulted in the arrest of a Marshall County man and a female from Princeton, Ky. Detectives served a search warrant at 142 Denver Lane Benton, Ky. this morning. Detectives seized over 5 pounds of meth with a street value of more than $230,000.00 and a loaded handgun. Detectives also found digital scales, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana during execution of search warrant. Detective Sergeant Kevin Mighell arrested Jeff Fox and Jennifer Souder. Both subjects were lodged in the Marshall County Detention.

Charges are as follows:

Jeff Fox- trafficking controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense more than 2 grams of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a handgun by convicted felon

Jennifer Souder- possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense- meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
