Pavement Marker Installation to Require Restrictions at Various Purchase Pkwy Ramps THIS WEE

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to install reflective
pavement markers on various ramps along the Julian Carroll-Purchace Parkway THIS
WEEK.

This work will require traffic to be restricted along the ramps at the following
locations from Draffenville to Mayfield:

Wednesday, August 24
SOUTHBOUND ONLY
ON and OFF ramps
US 68 Draffenville Exit 47 (first)
US 641 Spur Exit 41 (after US 68)

Thursday, August 25
SOUTHBOUND ONLY
KY 131 Mayfield Exit 27 ON and OFF ramps
US 45 Mayfield Exit 25 ON and OFF ramps

Friday, August 26
SOUTHBOUND
KY 121 Mayfield Exit 24 ON and OFF ramps
NORTHBOUND
KY 121 Mayfield Exit 24 ON and OFF ramps

Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance
personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Brehm Striping is the sub-contractor for this work.  It is part of extended general
upgrades along the Purchase Parkway aimed at allowing Interstate 69 to be extended
southward along the parkway from Calvert City to Mayfield in the future.
