Marshall County Sheriff’s Report August 22nd, 2016

On August 19th, Deputy Chris Greenfield was notified about a possible violation of a Kentucky Domestic Violence Order. It was reported to Deputy Greenfield that the suspect had been sending text messages to the victim. Deputy Greenfield spoke to the suspect and warned him to have no further contact. A short time later the suspect came to the victims home. Deputy Greenfield arrested Tyler S. Young age 34 of Hardin and charged him with violation of Kentucky EPO / DVO and he was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.

On August 19th at approximately 10:48pm, Deputy Nathan Maxlow was dispatched to Palma Road in reference to a traffic crash involving someone substance impaired. Prior to Deputies arriving, a caller stated that someone had picked up the intoxicated driver and was east bound on US 68. Deputy Maxlow stopped the vehicle and as a result of the ensuing investigation, Dwaine Wallace age 38 of Gilbertsville was arrested and charged with the following:
DUI 2nd Offense
Failure to Produce Insurance Card
Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense
Leaving Scene of Accident
Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.
The Disorderly Conduct charge resulted from Wallace’s conduct at the hospital as he began cussing and yelling in the emergency room.

On August 21st at approximately 10:28pm, Deputy Josh Anderson was dispatched to the off ramp of Purchase Parkway at the 41 mm. for a disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputy Anderson made contact with Chad A. Miller age 40 of Benton. According to a citation filed by Deputy Anderson, Miller had a smell of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. Deputy Anderson’s investigation revealed that the disturbance started when Miller had passed a vehicle on the side of the road, almost striking an individual changing a tire. Miller then stopped, backed up, and again almost struck the vehicle and bystanders.When Deputy Anderson arrived and spoke to Miller, he was standing in the middle of the road cussing and was non compliant. While being arrested Miller resisted arrest and lunged at KSP Trooper E. West. He was taken to the ground and handcuffed. Miller was charged with the following:
DUI
Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree
Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree ( Four Counts )
Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle
Resisting Arrest
Miller was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center
