People in the first century thought if God would send a great, military leader, everything would be ok. Instead, God sent a tiny, helpless baby into a poor family.Later, the people were certain that if they could make Jesus King, everything
would be ok. Instead, Jesus gave himself to die.We didn’t understand that the Sovereign was first swaddled by his mother or the great King’s coronation had to begin with a cross. We won’t understand most things now either. Worldly thinking can’t solve worldly problems.Christians, relax and trust God. Quit acting like the sky is falling. Refuse to panic. Turn away from the drama and disillusionment conjured up so quickly by your enemy. Follow closely to your Savior. God has worked out life for thousands of years. He’s got this.
