Ruth Nichols (nee Gipson), baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late T.H. Nichols; loving mother of Del (Gwen nee Nies) Nichols of Chesterfield, MO; dear grandmother of LaVonne (Aaron Mann) and Greg Nichols; loving great-grandmother of Sasha Taylor and Stefani Rudigier; dear great-great grandmother of Noah and Liam; beloved aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt, cousin, loving “Mom” and “Grandma” to many and a dear sweet friend.
Ruth was an avid cook, gardener and homemaker. She was a loving and giving person, always willing to help. She enjoyed sharing her knowledge of “living” history, and did so with a twinkle in her eye. She was a fun-loving person who lived her life to the fullest.
Funeral services from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday, July 19, 10:30 a.m. to Ascension Catholic Church, 230 Santa Maria Drive, Chesterfield for 11:00 a.m. Mass.
