At about 4:00 pm Saturday, severe thunderstorms crossed over Kentucky Lake in Marshall County.
Several boats were beached and at least one boat sunk.
A female passenger sustained a leg injury after being pinned under a boat that was flipped by high winds.
The US Coast Guard and Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources assisted in her transport to a local hospital where Leslie Shemwell of Benton was treated and released.
