Drainage Structure Repairs on KY 782/Griggstown Road in MARSHALL County Expected to Start Monday, June 13

KY 782/Griggstown Road in northwest Marshall County has been closed since March 23 at mile point 1.2 due to the failure of a couple of beams on a drainage structure that carries the roadway across Story Branch.  This closure is along KY 782 is 1/10th of a mile East of KY 1712.

 

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 engineers have been working up plans and ordering materials required to rebuild the ailing structure.  The KYTC District 1 Bridge Crew plans to start repair work on Monday, June 13th.  The repairs are expected to take about a week to complete, weather permitting.

 

KYTC will attempt to provide timely notice when the repairs are completed.
