The Kentucky Softball Coaches Association on Saturday selected the Region 1 Coach and Player of the Year. Marshall County’s Trent Lovett, in his first year as head coach of the Lady Marshals, was selected Region 1 Coach of the Year and McCracken County’s Audrey Dodd, Region 1 Player of the Year.
Awards will be presented on Sunday, June 19th during the East/West All-Star game at Georgetown College. Lady Marshals Lexee Miller and Payton Smothers have been selected to play in the East/West game.
