PADUCAH, Ky. (May 24, 2016) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's (KYTC) Department of Highways District 1 office in Paducah advises motorists that the eastbound lane of U.S. 68/KY 80 over the Lake Barkley Bridge in Trigg County will be closed to allow crews to perform a bridge inspection. Maintenance crews will close the eastbound lane of U.S. 60/KY 80 at mile point 8.2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT to allow crews to use a snooper truck to inspect under the Lake Barkley Bridge. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to approach and travel through the work zone with caution. All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
