DRAFFENVILLE – Number four ranked McCracken County beat the Marshals 10-0 in 5 innings on 14 hits Tuesday evening behind 5 shutout innings on the mound by Luke Seed. The Mustangs struck quickly putting 5 runs on the board in their first at-bat on RBI singles by Ian Walters and Reid Pope, a run scored by Rook Ellington on an error and a bases loaded walk that scored Keegan Breese.
The Mustangs went up 6-0 in the 3rd inning following a home run blast by Isaac Lineberry. Lineberry and Ellington both hit doubles in the 4th inning that put McCracken County up 10-0 on their way to the 5 inning win and improved their record to 21-5.
Lucas Forsythe managed the only hit for the Marshals off of Seed who struck out 5.

Cody Clark was 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and 2 RBI’s along with Drake Anderson who went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI in the Marshals 7-2 win on Monday over Ballard Memorial. Griffin Ives got the win in 5 innings of work, allowing 4 hits, 2 runs and striking out 3.
After 2 innings, the Marshals led 2-0 on an RBI single by Jackson Beal and sacrifice hit by Anderson. An RBI single by Cole Griggs put the Marshals up 3-0 in the 3rd.
The Bombers cut the Marshals led to 3-2 in the bottom of the 4th on a double by Cavin Foster and sacrifice hit by Jesse Hendricks but the Marshall lead stretched back out in the inning on an RBI single by Clark and run scored by Forsythe on an error.
Justice Beal took base in the 5th after he was hit by a pitch, then scored on a ground out by Austin Poe in the 5th with the final run in the 6th coming on a double by Clark.
