BENTON – An event like no other…the 173rd Annual Tater Day festivities wrapped up Monday with the parade on a beautiful spring day in Marshall County. This year’s theme was “Remember Our Troops” with Grand Marshall Aubert Rose, Jr. leading the parade as it made its way east on 5th Street and South on Main Street.

The South’s Great Lake Fair and Tater Day Festival events began on March 26th with the crowning of Miss Tater Day and Little Mr. and Miss Tater Day. A concert in the park, CFSB’s Tater Trot, ATV races, enduro car races and The Lions Club breakfast are just a few of the many events that took place.

Casey’s Amusement Rides began on Thursday at HH Lovett Park and continue through the day on Monday.
