The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed a section of KY 795 in MARSHALL County, effective immediately.
KY 795/Scale Road is closed at mile point 9.7.
An inspection found a bridge over Little Cypruss Creek is unsafe for travel. Due to deterioration of the bridge structure it will have to be replaced. Engineers are seeking emergency funding to help expedite efforts to construct a new bridge.
