Archery Team places 2 in top 35 at KHSAA Region 1 Tournament

Marshall County Archers have been busy in the last 10 days competing in three tournaments including Tuesday’s Kentucky State NASP Tournament at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville and will finish their season next weekend when they compete in the Kentucky State Individual NASP Tournament at The Cross Center in Midway, Ky.

On March 12, the Archery team competed at the KHSAA Region 1 Tournament at the Henderson County Archery Facility. Trigg County won the eight team tournament with a score of 3424 hitting 213 tens. The Marshals placed 7th with 3266 and 140 tens.

The top male for the Marshals was Tyler Elfrank with a score of 285, placing him 17th among 103 high school boys and the top female was Hayden Eubanks with 282, placing 9th among 72 high school girls.

This past weekend the team competed in the March Madness and Alumni Shoot at Trigg County High School. Trigg County took 1st with 3424 (213 tens) and the Marshals placed 3rd among four teams with 3297 (143 tens).

Bailey Whiteman had the best score for the Marshall County boys with 285 placing 4th among 48 boys and Emelia Andersson had the best finish among the girls with a score of 277 for 14th out of 37.
