Monsanto Award Goes to Local Farmer

 
Monsanto-2Keith Harris, of Harris Farm in Benton, Ky, has been awarded the 2016 "American
Farmer's Grow Communities" award by Monsanto Fund, the philanthropic arm of Monsanto
Company. A charitable donation of $2,500 has been directed to Five Plus Two
Ministries by Mr. Harris, who has been recognized as an outstanding young farmer who
is positively impacting his community. Mr. Harris and his wife Krista sit on the
board of Trustees for Five Plus Two Ministries, based in Benton Ky.

In the past six years, Monsanto's organization, American Farmers Grow Communities,
has donated more than $22 million to charities across rural America. They partner
with farmers to support local non-profit causes in their communities. Other projects
include college scholarships for agricultural studies, math/science awards to
schools in rural farm communities and American Farmers Grow Ag Leaders.

Spokesperson and president, for Five Plus Two Ministries, Jordan Beale, would like
to thank Monsanto's and Mr. Keith Harris for their generous donation. This donation
will be used to support Siritanyi Children's Home.
