Marshall County Mammography Department receives donation

Mammography Donation

The Benton Woman’s Club recently donated $1,200 to the Marshall County Hospital Mammography department.  This money will be used to purchase “cushioned mammo pads” used to give women greater comfort during a mammogram exam.  Marica White, MCH public relations director, stated “The Benton Woman’s Club has been so supportive through the years of our hospital and specifically the mammography suite.  In the past, the organization has donated  robes, furniture, CD player with spa-like music, and now for two consecutive years, they have donated money to use toward these specially designed pads. We appreciate their support to provide the best healthcare possible and want to encourage our community to be supportive of the Benton Woman’s Club.”
