Paulette Cannon, age 69 of Calvert City, KY died on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at her
home.
Born Friday, September 6, 1946 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late James
A. Lofton and the late Hilda (Darnall) Lofton.
Surviving are her husband, Harley Cannon; sons, Steven Lofton of Nashville, TN and
Johnny Lofton of Benton, KY, step-daughter, Brenda Breslin of Jeffersonville, IN;
brothers, Jerry Lofton of Nampa, ID and Louis Lofton of Mayfield, KY, sisters,
Barbara Treas of Benton, KY, Janice Houser of Tucson, AZ, Brenda Fleet of Benton,
KY; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-son, Harley Dale Cannonbrother, Ronnie Lofton, and sister, Linda
Sue Lofton.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Collier
Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Rodney Wallace
officiating.
Interment will follow in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. on Friday,
January 29, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
