On Tuesday December 15th Deputy Steven Oakley was dispatched to US 641 in reference to a vehicle all over the roadway. The caller advised the vehicle pulled over onto the shoulder and when Deputy Oakley made contact with the subject he observed a female in the driver’s seat. The female subject was then given the Field Sobriety Test in which there were many indicators present for being under the influence. Lora M. Wood 40, of Benton, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.
