Overall, average retail gasoline prices in Kentucky have fallen six cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.85 a gallon Sunday, according to GasBuddy.
This compares with the national average that has fallen almost three cents per gallon in the last week to $2.04.
In the Lakes Area, prices are ranging from $1.73 to $1.99 a gallon.
Including the change in Kentucky during the past week, prices Sunday were 87 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago.
The national average has decreased 14 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 73 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
