KSP ‘Cram The Cruiser’ to help out needy families underway

kspStarting now and running through Friday, December 11th you can help feed needy families for the Christmas Holiday.  Friday kicked off the annual “Cram the Cruiser” food drive at the Kentucky State Police Post 1.  Anyone who wishes can drop off non perishable food items in the lobby of Kentucky State Police, Post 1, which is located at 8366 State Route, 45 North in Hickory.

Kentucky State Police will take the items to local food pantries, in the post 1 area, for distribution to families in the area.

In addition to collecting food at Post 1, KSP will be set up from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

at the following dates and locations;

  • November 24th  at the Kroger store in Murray
  • November 25th at the Food Giant in Eddyville
  • November 27th at the Kroger store in Murray
  • November 30th at the Hancock’s Neighborhood Market in Cadiz
  • December 1st at the Kroger store in Murray
  • December 3rd  at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Benton
  • December 7th at the Food Giant in Cadiz
  • December 8th at the Kroger store on Park Ave in Paducah
  • December 9th at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Hinkleville Rd in Paducah
  • December 11th at the Kroger store in Murray

KSP Post 1 collected 34,000 pounds of food during the 2014 “Cram the Cruiser”.
