PADUCAH – A drug investigation that began on November 9, 2015, resulted in the arrest of three Paducah residents. Drug unit detectives from three agencies, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, Paducah Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint investigation regarding methamphetamine trafficking in Paducah, KY.

During the operation, detectives purchased approximately 7.5 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine from Justin Goad. Two other individuals were actively assisting Goad in the sale of the methamphetamine.

After witnessing the transaction, detectives from the agencies arrested Goad, Rachel Green, and Joshua Riley, all of Paducah.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Rachel Green had brought her three month old infant daughter to the methamphetamine transaction. During the transaction, Riley provided Green a methamphetamine pipe and Green smoked meth inside the vehicle in which her infant daughter was found in car seat.

Green’s three month old daughter was taken to a local emergency room by a family member as a precautionary measure to be treated for exposure to the Methamphetamine.

26 year old Justin Goad was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine Over 2 grams. Rachel Green, also 26 years old, was charged with Complicity to Trafficking Methamphetamine Over 2 Grams, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, and Possession of Methamphetamine. Green’s charge of Wanton Endangerment 1stDegree stems from her smoking methamphetamine directly next to her infant child inside a vehicle. Joshua Riley, 35 years old, was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine Over 2 Grams, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three individuals were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
