The Marshall County Backboard Club is hosting an Elite Basketball Training Clinic on Sunday, November 8th at the high school gymnasium from 1:30 – 3:15. The clinic will be for grades 3 through 8 and will cost $20 per player.
A registration form and liability waiver must be filled out by a legal guardian before they will be allowed on the court.
The clinic will be an intense on the court workout where players will learn new skills and drills that will help them improve as an individual player. Players will be challenged in order to discover what it takes to become better. Each player will have the opportunity to sit through a classroom session (Chalk Talk) where various topics will be discussed and explained in detail, thereby improving his/her basketball I.Q.
Coaches and parents are invited to stay and watch. Our hope is that you will gain knowledge that will help you in developing your children’s basketball skills.
There will be a 30 minute Coaches Seminar following the clinic. This seminar will help coaches learn what to teach and what will be expected from their players at the next level along with learning how to develop an effective practice plan. Also coaches will participate in an open discussion with the opportunity to ask questions from experienced coaches.
