Marshall County Sheriff’s Report – October 12

On Friday October 9, Deputy Cory Curtner was dispatched to Karen Faye Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputy Curtner observed a female that reportedly had several surface lacerations and bruising. Nathan E. Ham 47, of Hardin, was arrested and charged with Assault 4th degree Domestic Violence.

On Sunday October 11, Deputy Barry Howell was dispatched to the intersection of US 68 West and Darnell Road in reference to an auto accident. Upon arrival, Deputy Howell observed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on the subject. Steven A. Colvin 46, of Paducah, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.

For the week of October 5 through October 12, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following: 13 Traffic Accidents, 7 Motorist Assists, 9 Burglary/Theft reports, 13 Disturbances, 5 Investigations, 7 Domestic Disturbances, 14 Warrants Served, 27 Civils Served and 27 Have a Deputy Call that contributed to a call volume of 223 calls responded to.
