Something for everyone this fall at the Carson Center

Paducah, KY – October 5, 2015…. The Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center kicked off this performance season with concerts by Kansas and Ron White.  Now we are ready to entertain the region this fall with lots of performances full of drama, music, dance, and laughter.  Individual tickets are available for these performances and are on sale now.  Tickets may be purchased by calling the Box Office or online at www.thecarsoncenter.org.  Fees are not included in the ticket prices.  The Carson Center Box Office is located at 100 Kentucky Avenue in Paducah, with hours Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 5:00pm CST.

 

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – October 15, 2015 at 7:00pm

One of the most enduring shows of all time, Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber’s JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel’s favorite son. Directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, this new production is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.  The magical musical is full of unforgettable songs, including Go Go Go Joseph, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door.  Tickets are $63, $52, and $41.

 

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and The Booth Brothers – October 18, 2015 at 3:00pm

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (EHSS) – a Southern Gospel quartet with high-energy harmonies– returns to the Carson Center stage.  The quartet will be joined by The Booth Brothers, a powerhouse Southern Gospel trio.  The Gospel Music Association has honored EHSS with Dove Awards for outstanding achievements and excellence in Gospel music.  The quartet’s “Dream On” was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award in the Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass Gospel Album category.  EHSS recorded its “Get Away Jordan” project at the Carson Center.  “Oh What a Saviour” is another hit song and album title for this versatile quartet. Each EHSS member is a vocal star in his own right. Together, they deliver lively and uplifting concerts to appreciative audiences. Before starting EHSS, Haase was part of the famous Cathedrals quartet and Gaither Homecoming Tour.  All Tickets are $17, $15, and $13.

 

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe – November 1, 2015 at 3:00pm

This enchanting musical is based on C.S. Lewis’ adventure story about four children of war-torn England, who accidentally enter the land of Narnia by climbing through a magic wardrobe. This strange and wondrous place is ruled by the cold-hearted White Witch, who makes the winter last year round. Although they seem unlikely saviors, the children fulfill an ancient prophecy by defeating the witch, thus restoring sunshine and peace to the spell-bound Narnia and returning the great Lion King Aslan to his throne.  All Tickets are $15.

 

The Cat in the Hat – November 16, 2015 at 6:00pm

From the moment his tall red-and-white-striped hat appears at their door, Sally and her brother know that the Cat in the Hat is the most mischievous cat they will ever meet. In this stage adaptation of the whimsical Dr. Seuss book – the Cat and his antics transform a rainy afternoon. Will their house ever be the same? Can the kids clean up before Mom comes home? With some tricks (and a fish) and Thing Two and Thing One, with the Cat in The Hat, the fun’s never done!  All Tickets are $12.
