Golf teams tee it up at KHSAA State Tournament

BOWLING GREEN – The Marshall County boy’s golf team is in Bowling Green today playing their practice round for tomorrow’s first day of the KHSAA State Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club.

Tee times on Tuesday begin at 12:42 off of the first hole, starting with Grant Hackney. Jay Nimmo’s tee time is 12:51, Garrett Howell 1:00, D.J. Pigg 1:09 and Quinn Eaton at 1:18. The Marshals will be paired with the teams from Wayne County and Elizabethtown.

The 12 teams with the lowest scores and 20 individuals plus last spot ties will advance to the second round of play on Wednesday. The girls begin play on Friday with the top 11 low teams and 20 individuals plus last spot ties advancing to the second round on Saturday.

Paired with Paul Lawrence Dunbar and Scott County, the first tee time for the Marshall County girls on Friday off of the 10th hole is Kennadi Spraggs at 7:45, Karrissa Jordan 7:54, Savannah Howell 8:03, Hallie Riley 8:12 and Bailey Tyree 8:21.
