Marching Marshals Reserve Grand Champion at Graves County

MAYFIELD – With heavy hearts and displaying much courage after one of their members passed away the previous week, the Marching Marshals traveled to Graves County High School on Saturday, September 26th, to compete in the 2015 Graves County Marching Invitational.

Competing in Class 5A, the Marching Marshals went up against Murray High School, Mayfield High School, Ballard Memorial, Lyon County, Crittenden County, Paducah Tilghman and McCracken County.

In 5A, the Marshals took home best color guard and won first place in their division. Overall, the Marshals finished in second place as the Reserve Grand Champion. Murray High School finished first and named Grand Champion.

The Marching Marshals dedicate the rest of the season in memory of Chaney Corley. They competed at the Christian County Tournament of Bands in Hopkinsville Saturday, October 3rd.
