Prayer Vigil Held in Trooper’s Honor

EDDYVILLE, KY – Over 500 folks came together Sunday night in Lyon County for a prayer vigil to honor the life of fallen Kentucky State Police Trooper Cameron Ponder.

The event organized by Lyon County Judge Executive Wade White was held at the Veterans Plaza in front of the Judicial Center in Eddyville. Ponder’s family, law enforcement, first responders and staff of local correction facilities were lifted-up in prayer.

According to Judge White, officers from Graves, Providence, Crittenden, and Caldwell were there along with Kentucky State Police.
