GILBERTSVILLE – The first ever South’s Great Lake Fish Festival is coming to Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park on September 19th. Team Kentucky Lake is teaming up with FLW Outdoors to host a multi-species fishing tournament that will begin at 7:00 am with final weigh-in at 2:00 pm.
Fish from the shore or from a boat in the five category tournament with a registration fee of $10 per angler and kids 10 and under are FREE. Boat take-off will be from the old beach area near the Convention Center. Weigh-in anytime between 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The tournament is just one of the many activities going on from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.
At 3:00, there will be a Kentucky Lake Tall Tales Liars contest, live entertainment from 3:00-7:00, food and craft vendors, cornhole, kayak and SUP demos all day plus an all-day Kid’s Fun Zone.
