BENTON – At approximately 8:15a.m. Wednesday morning, Deputy Steven Oakley of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a wreck with possible injuries on U.S. Hwy 68 W.
Patrick R. Payne, 36, of Gilbertsville, was traveling westbound on the highway when he lost control and over-corrected. This caused him to run off the right shoulder of the road coming to rest upside down in a ditch.
Payne was taken to Marshall County Hospital by EMS for treatment of his injuries.
